HE. Dr. Jaleela Bint Alsayed Jawad Hasan
Minister of Health
Dr. Jaleela bint AlSayed Jawad Hasan is currently Minister of Health – Kingdom of Bahrain.
In December 2018, she received the Fellowship in Aesthetic medicine from The American Academy of antiaging medicine, in November. 2014, she got her Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology 2013/14 with distinction from Barts and London School of Medicine and Dentistry Centre for Cutaneous Research.
In March. 2009, she got the Postgraduate Diploma of the London school of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in Tropical Medicine and International Health (DLSHTM) , in November 2008, she received the MSc of science in Tropical Medicines and International Health (University of London) and in May 2008, the Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (Royal College of physicians of London). In december 2004, she got the Joint Board of Irish College of general practitioner (ICGP), Royal College of Physician in Ireland and Ministry of Health and in June. 2000, she got the bachelor’s degree in Medicine & Surgery (M.B.B.S) from King Faisal
University.
She had several positions as Chief Executive Officer of Primary Healthcare Centres and as Public health Consultant -Head of immunization group & Expanded program of immunization manager at the Ministry of
Health.
She has numerous publications and has participated in many projects in addition to taking part in many professional trainings, scientific courses, workshops and conferences. She actively participated in many WHO international meetings since 2006. She is currently the Chairperson of WHO- SAGE working group on Quality and Use of Global Immunization and Surveillance Data since 2017.
She is member in many professional societies in Bahrain and abroad.
