Dr Sanji de Sylva

Dr Sanji de Sylva is a Physician with over 20 years of clinical engagement, clinical informatics and healthcare leadership experience. He has also been involved in overseeing large scale Healthcare Transformation and Clinical Informatics Programmes as part of Clinical Information System implementations.
He has delivered EMR and HIE implementations, clinical business process redesign programmes, and clinical engagement/change management initiatives in the Middle East, NZ, Australia and the UK. In his current role, Dr De Sylva is responsible for the clinical design of the region’s first Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform, ensuring data quality and standardization and end user adoption of the Malaffi HIE platform in order to enable better clinical decision making and improve patient outcomes through data driven insights.
