H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Khazraji

H.E. Dr. Ahmed AlKhazraji serves as the Executive Director of Strategy and Policy at the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH). In this role he is responsible for leading all activities under strategic planning, performance management and institutional excellence, policy development, digital health and analytics,
and transformation.
Prior to DOH, Dr. AlKhazraji was the Director of Health Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, responsible for driving Abu Dhabi’s health agenda through the initiatives, programs, and special projects of its foundational strategies and annual plans, across health‐related government and private entities. Dr. AlKhazraji has over 15 years of healthcare experience across public and private sectors, holding leadership roles in clinical care, medical operations, and government health affairs.
He has also served business group boards, co‐chaired healthcare committees, and led multiple steering committees that brought world‐leading surgical and therapeutic care, for the first time, to the UAE.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), and an alumnus of the UAE Prime Minister’s Office Government Executive Leaders program. He completed his studies at the University of Southern California and Marquette University, in the United States.
