HE. DR. Noura Al Ghaithi

Her Excellency Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi is the Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH). Over the past years, she has held several leadership positions across prestigious healthcare institutions, elevating processes, and services to deliver exceptional care to UAE residents.
As a firm believer in the importance of applying technology to enhance the delivery and accessibility of patient care, Dr. Ghaithi has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in managing change and introducing new practices that deliver measurable outcomes. She has accumulated exceptional skills in driving strategic planning, hospital administration, medical affairs and the delivery of world‐class healthcare services.
Establishing the first ambulatory endoscopy units in diagnostic and screening centers in the region, she has continued to invest in programmes that have helped to better community health and prioritise wellbeing.
A visionary and motivated healthcare leader, Dr. Ghaithi has won several awards recognising her work in the healthcare industry, including the Healthcare Facilities Sustainability Diamond Award by Arab Hospitals Federation and the Women Leaders Award by Harvard Business Council.
Dr. Al Ghaithi completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from UAE University in 2006. She’s a consultant physician, holding the Arab Board’s certification in Family Medicine. Further, she obtained a master’s degree in quality and healthcare Safety in Healthcare Management from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and holds the American Board’s certification in Healthcare Quality. Dr. Al Ghaithi continues to enrich her knowledge to keep pace with the latest healthcare management practices
